Hey Hey Hair Lovers
Last night The Golden Globes, held in LA, brought some of the finest stars and hair looks floating down the red carpet for a fun evening of dinner, drinks and awards hosted by the one and only Ricky Gervais!!
Here are a few of my fav looks:
Ponytails are quite the in thing right now. You don't have to stick to the plain pulled back ponytail, experiment with the hair like Nicole Richie has?! Section out your hair so you have a 'strip' of hair left out at the front of the head on each side, pull the rest up into a ponytail and then twist the strip of hair on the left side towards the ponytail and fasten with clips underneath the bobble. Repeat on the right. Maybe back comb it a little bit to add volume like Nicole.
Here we have a few up do's that I particularly like. Emma Stone has a low slung chignon as does Charlize Theron. Only hers has been brought over to the side of the head and curled. My fav though is Kate Beckinsale's over sized curly bun. Kate Beckinsale is the epitome of the classic English Rose. She is out of this world naturally beautiful and this up'do reflects her style perfectly. Outstanding Kate.
A few of the ladies opt'ed for the typical hair down and curly or dishevelled party look. Simple and effective.
Finally there is Michelle Williams with her cute little pixie cut. Natural, Simple and with that black headband she makes me just want to hug her cute little head off....Maybe I'll save myself the restraining order and not actually attempt to do this... ;)
