Guess what!! GOLDEN HIGHLIGHTS are BACK!! Brunettes go and get those locks highlighted up ready for the sunshiiiine!! I remember the last time golden highlights were cool and that was about...4 or 5 years ago??! But now, so I hear, those little streaks of golden blond are back and are a sure fire way to turn brunette hair into a glistening ray of sunshine for the summer. Lighter tones are great for breaking up block colours and add interest and texture to your tresses!!

Some people will choose to have alot of gold run through their hair...If this is you then ask for a full head of highlights but have them spaced out slightly. We are going for a highlighted look here...Not a full on ginger bombshell. Then have a golden toner put on. If you can try and use a salon that colours with Loreal. Amazingly beautiful and natural colours. I particularly like Loreal Richesse Soft Gold 8.3 If you have your hair done at home then get your stylist to apply the toner after shampooing your hair and leave on as long as needed

You could opt for a more subtle look also

For this I'd recommend getting a half head highlights, again spaced out slightly and tone as above

Or maybe ask for partial colour and have just a few pieces run through the bottom layer of the hair
